Delete your PoolIndex account
PoolIndex is operated by PROSYS SOUTH, Israel. This page applies to the PoolIndex website, the Windows application and the Android application, which all use the same account.
How to delete your account
- Sign in and open your account page. Sign in and open my account
In the Windows application: select your email address at the top of the window to open your account page.
In the Android application: open Account, then Delete account. - Under Privacy and account closure, enter your password, type DELETE, and send the request.
- An operator processes each request in accordance with applicable law, within 30 days of the request. When you send the request you are signed out on every device, your agent tokens stop working and the account can no longer be used; to cancel the request before it is processed, email privacy@poolindex.app. Sending the request does not delete the data yet: the data listed below is deleted when an operator processes the request.
Cannot sign in? Email privacy@poolindex.app from the email address of your account and ask for deletion.
What is deleted
- Your email address, display name and password. The account record keeps only a random id and dates, marked as deleted, so nobody can sign in to it or restore it.
- The public wallet addresses linked to your account, including the wallet slots of your plan.
- Your scan records, Deep Hunts, agent connection logs and agent tokens.
- Your sessions and sign-in links, feedback, privacy requests, plan data (including any PayPal subscription reference), and PoolIndex's copies of the email it sent you.
- The server's stored wallet checks for addresses that no other account uses.
What is kept, and why
- The deletion request
- The random account id and the dates of the request and of its processing, to show that the request was handled. Deleted automatically 90 days after the request is processed, together with the minimal account record.
- Security events
- Sign-in and security events are kept without your email address. They still contain the random account id and IP addresses, to protect the service against abuse and attacks. Deleted automatically 90 days after the request is processed.
- Usage counts
- Telemetry, error and download rows are kept without your account id or email address.
- Backups
- Backups of the database can contain your data until they are deleted. They are used only to recover the service after a failure, never to restore a single account. The backup deletion period will be published here once it is confirmed on the server.
- Email delivery provider
- When PoolIndex sends email through Resend, an external email provider, Resend keeps email and its logs for 30 days and its own backups for 7 days, under its own terms.
- Your devices
- Results that the Windows or Android application, or your browser, keeps on your device stay there until you delete them. In the Android application, clearing the application's data or uninstalling it also removes them. Uninstalling the Windows application downloaded from poolindex.app does not remove them: they stay in the PoolIndex folder in %APPDATA% until you delete that folder.
Delete some of your data without closing your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific data.
On your account page, under Privacy and account closure, send a privacy request, and say which data you want deleted, such as a public wallet address linked to your account, or feedback you sent. An operator handles each request in accordance with applicable law and replies by email.
