Solana wallet checker: SOL, stake and rent
A Solana wallet checker reads a public Solana address and shows what it holds. PoolIndex checks Solana addresses in its apps for Windows, Android and iPhone. It lists your SOL balance and tokens, stake accounts that are no longer staking and can be withdrawn, and rent held in empty token accounts that most wallet apps can close. Each result links to the account on Solana Explorer.
You only paste the public Solana address. PoolIndex never asks for your seed phrase or private key, and you can check a public address without connecting a wallet.
What the Solana check shows
The check reads public data from the Solana network for one address. It is read-only: nothing is signed and no transaction is sent.
- SOL balance: the SOL held by the address itself.
- Tokens: the token balances of the address, with names and prices when Jupiter's public token service knows the token.
- Stake you can withdraw: stake accounts that are no longer staking and that your address is allowed to withdraw from. Active stake and stake that is still cooling down are shown as holdings.
- Rent in empty token accounts: token accounts with a zero balance that still hold a small SOL deposit.
What the Solana check does not cover
Solana checks do not include airdrop eligibility yet. PoolIndex does not look up Solana airdrop lists, claim pages or app rewards for a Solana address. For a Solana airdrop, go to the project's official site yourself.
The website itself has no wallet check. Solana checks run in the PoolIndex apps for Windows, Android and iPhone.
SOL left in a stake account
Staking on Solana happens through stake accounts. When you stop staking, the stake cools down until the end of the current epoch, which usually lasts about two days. After that the SOL is no longer staking, but it does not move back to your wallet by itself. It stays in the stake account until it is withdrawn.
That is how SOL gets forgotten: someone unstakes, the cooldown ends, and the SOL keeps sitting in the stake account. PoolIndex lists the stake accounts your address can withdraw from, with the amount and a link to each account on Solana Explorer. Stake under a lockup is not counted as withdrawable.
PoolIndex does not withdraw anything. You withdraw in your own wallet, which can sign for the stake account.
Rent held in empty token accounts
On Solana, each token a wallet holds has its own token account, and each token account keeps a small SOL deposit called rent, about 0.002 SOL. When you sell or send all of a token, the balance goes to zero, but the account stays open and the deposit stays with it.
Closing an empty token account returns its deposit to you, and most Solana wallet apps can close them. A wallet that traded many tokens can have dozens of empty accounts, so the deposits add up. PoolIndex counts the empty token accounts of your address and shows the total rent they hold, with a link to the address's token list on Solana Explorer.
Close only accounts you no longer need.
Every result links to Solana Explorer
Each result shows how it was checked and links to the account on Solana Explorer, so you can confirm it yourself. If a read failed, the result says it could not be verified instead of showing zero.
A result is a lead to confirm, not a promise of funds. Any withdrawal or account closing is done by you, in your own wallet.
Find your Solana address
A Solana address is a string of 32 to 44 letters and numbers. It does not start with 0x. In a Solana wallet app it is shown under Receive or at the top of the account screen, with a copy button. The public address is safe to look up: it is already visible to anyone on the blockchain.
If your SOL is held on an exchange, the deposit address there is usually managed by the exchange. Results for that address may not apply to you, so check the exchange's official help pages instead.
Privacy: what a Solana check sends
The PoolIndex app, on your PC or on your phone, reads the address's public data directly from a public Solana RPC endpoint. To show token names and prices, it sends the token mint addresses it found, never the wallet address, to Jupiter's public token service. PoolIndex stores the public address you check on your account, in your plan's wallet slot, and the results stay on your device.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the Solana wallet checker free?
- Yes. After you register, the free plan checks one wallet: a 0x address or a Solana address. Solana checks run in the PoolIndex apps for Windows, Android and iPhone.
- Does PoolIndex check Solana airdrops?
- No. Solana checks do not include airdrop eligibility yet. For 0x addresses, PoolIndex checks specific airdrop programs on Ethereum, Arbitrum One, Optimism and Base.
- What is SOL left in a stake account?
- When you stop staking, the SOL stays in the stake account until you withdraw it. PoolIndex lists stake accounts your address can withdraw from, with the amount and a link to Solana Explorer. You withdraw in your own wallet. PoolIndex never asks for keys.
- What is rent in an empty token account?
- Each Solana token account keeps a small SOL deposit. When the token balance is zero, closing the account returns that deposit to you. PoolIndex shows how much rent your empty token accounts hold.
- Do I need to connect a wallet?
- No. PoolIndex checks using your public wallet address only, the same address anyone can already see on the blockchain. It never asks for your seed phrase or private key.
- Can I check a Solana address on the website or on my phone?
- On your phone, yes: the PoolIndex apps for Android and iPhone check Solana addresses, and so does the Windows app. The website itself has no wallet check.
- Does PoolIndex withdraw stake or close accounts for me?
- No. PoolIndex only reads public data. You withdraw stake or close empty token accounts yourself, in your own wallet, after checking the account on Solana Explorer.
